Rave & Revenge continues bringing the soundtrack to our dying world by enlisting doomcore veteran Starving Insect to the ranks. With ”Gospels of The Worm” he offers three tracks of cosmic dread, squirming chaos and analog synthesizers: ”In Human Gore Imbued”, inspired by Edgar Alan Poe’s poem The Conqueror Worm, is by-the-book doomcore, drenched in huge space atmospheres and dark melodies. ”That Ought To Crawl”, a title borrowed from HP Lovecraft’s The Festival, ups the tempo with distorted kicks, relentless rave synths and a brutal drop. ”Squirming Beneath A Staring Void” finished off the A side and brings the listener far out in to the nothingness of space before dropping into ice cold acid techno.

The B-side offers remixes from Scørch (the techno moniker of DJ Hidden) and French rave authorities Umwelt and Minimum Syndicat.

Artwork curated by Alexander Trinkl of Irrwisch Art design.
